The most popular Italian dessert made from savoiardi biscuits briefly soaked in espress coffee, mascarpone cheese, eggs, cream, sugar and sprinkled with cocoa powder. The Italian name tiramisu means " pick-me up", metaphorically "makes me happy" a reference to the two caffeine-containing ingredients, espresso and cocoa.
